Verizon Wireless Road to the NFL: Micah BTS at Dallas Christmas Parade 2024

As a Belizean artist and emerging Dallas influencer, I had the incredible opportunity to go behind the scenes (BTS) at the Verizon Wireless Road to the NFL, part of the Dallas Christmas Parade 2024. No Belizean artist has ever collaborated with a major brand like Verizon in such a hands-on way, and I was thrilled to serve as a brand ambassador for the day, capturing the excitement, handing out promotional items, and engaging with fans at the parade and throughout the Verizon activations.

Interactive Activations at Verizon Village

Verizon’s presence extended far beyond sponsoring the parade. At Verizon Village, located in Main Street Garden, visitors experienced a full interactive festival with games, photo opportunities, and holiday fun. As part of my content creator role, I helped document fans using the Verizon photo booth, collecting prizes from gift bags, and engaging with attendees in various activation zones.

One of the most exciting experiences was the Verizon Wireless Road to the Super Bowl tour bus, which allowed fans to participate in an interactive Easter egg hunt. Guests solved sports-themed puzzles onboard the branded bus for a chance to win tickets to the 2025 Super Bowl, giving them a unique, immersive experience that combined tech, sports, and holiday cheer.

Capturing the Parade and Fan Energy

Being on-site as a Dallas influencer and content creator gave me the opportunity to capture not only the energy of the parade but also the excitement surrounding Verizon’s sponsorship. Families lined the streets of Dallas to enjoy the festive floats, music, and performances, while the Verizon team engaged attendees with branded giveaways, photo activations, and interactive games.

Documenting these moments allowed me to show how Verizon Wireless leverages event sponsorship to connect with the community and create memorable, shareable content — a key part of their marketing strategy.
